I am fascinated by the way light, especially sunlight, plays colours on and through and around organic forms.

I love to draw in pencil and pastels, and to paint in oils and inks.

I hope to find ways to make my artwork somehow compliment my concern for the increasingly disastrous effects of human societies on our natural world.

Probably my greatest influences have been Sam Peploe, Cadel, Van Gogh, Monet, and J Singer Sargent amongst many many more.
