I am fascinated by the way light, especially sunlight, plays colours on and through and around organic forms.
I love to draw in pencil and pastels, and to paint in oils and inks.
I absolutely adore creating portraits of cherished pets or beautiful wildlife or loved ones for clients that wish to savour their natural beauty in art form. Using a variety of techniques including graphite, coloured pencil, paints or pastels I carefully transfer their features and personality to paper.
With such a personal endeavour, I aim to get to know my customers and their animals to create the most authentic and memory-provoking piece of art possible.
You not only drew the image of Kumi perfectly but you ingeniously captured her character too. It is truly perfect. Thank you!

How a Commission Works
Get in touch with me by phone or email. We will chat about your requirements and I will give you the total cost and approximate timescale.
Next, I will require a good selection of photos of the subject in decent quality. This is the most crucial stage and I cannot emphasise enough how important it is to give me high quality images as well as a variety to work from.
I will then get to work and send you regular updates of the progress.
Once complete, and we are all happy with the end product, I will arrange the appropriate framing, if requested. Once payment is settled, I will arrange postage to your chosen address.
The final step is for you to hang it in the perfect location.
